I assume you have a auto diesel? How new (miles?) is it?

In the first 2,000 miles or so of my 2.0Tdi (auto), the car would be rather rough when pulling off very slowing in crawling traffic conditions. The dealer said that it was the multitronic gearbox trying to 'learn' my driving style. Anyway, it's got 5,000 miles now and everything has been fine after the first couple of '000 miles; 'fixed', all by itself.

How rough is the idle? I'd say that a little bit of lower idle shake doesn't mean anything is wrong. Is it at all related to the outside temperature? I know when it's really cold outside (<20F) my car will sometimes idle a little rougher than normal.
