Default water retention a4 mirrors

Anyone know if I drill someholes in the door mirrors, to let out the water after washing, if it could create any problems

I would be worried that if you drill a hole (or holes), that at high speeds (or even, 'medium speeds'), the window may start to whistle!!! That would be BAD...

If the 'carpy water' is bothering you, then perhaps you could consider shaping a sponge to soak up the water etc.

I'm sure that there is a 'reason' why holes are not built into wing mirrors; I do know exactly what you're talking about re. the water streaming down the side, but it only does it for a while as not that much does accumulate.
