Overriding the bulb failure warning system possible?
Hi All. Some good threads regarding use of LED bulbs on this and other Audi fora. The outstandig issue is that the lower current draw of the LED bulbs requires a parallel resistor to fool the computer into believing a 'normal' filament bulb is present with the expected current draw.
Is it not possible to either disable or adjust the sensitivity of the bulb warning system via the VAGCOM? (P.S. Eg. I understand that you can adjust the brightness of the DRLs via this also?) Thanks! |
