Default Radio - CD codes via VAG-COM

Hi,

Any VAG-COM experts out there?

I have added a CD changer (Audi) to my concert ii radio, which works OK - but checking via VAG-COM it highlights that the coding is now incorrect - software code 0210301 is for a standard Concert ii without CD - does anyone know the coding for Audi radios? - such that I can work out the correct code for Concert ii plus a 6-cd changer?

Thanks,

Unfortunatly the codes on that site are 5 character, whilst I appear to have 7 character code settings - if I assume there are leading or trailing zeros, my existing config' should have 00011 at some point - which it doesn't.

I have also looked at de.openobd.org - audi - radio-/navigationssysteme again this has 6 character codes not 7 like mine but it is possible that this has just a leading zero - assuming the loadspeaker diagnosis is disabled and the fader indication is off then it would match.

So I may just try 0210303 - it with either work or not!

This may be more relevant, the coding option for adding a cd changer seems to be the last of seven digits. Found in the first main coding section, installation options 2.

Thanks,

That does appear to be an American translation from the German site - so at least the two match!

I tried adding the +2 on the final digit for the CD changer (i.e. 0210303) but it didn't work, the radio re-sets itself to 0210301, I also tried 0210307 - CD + MFSW as I have both - but that didn't work either.

If your CD changer works, and everything else works as it should, i would not bother too much about VAG-COM telling you the coding is wrong.

Some Audi radios are a pain, and not all functions are perfectly compatible with VAG-COM.
