Well, you don't actually state what country you live in?
I trust you are aware that retro-fitting HIDs into Halogen headlamps is illegal; in most states of the US, the UK, and many EU countries. Rgds

i live in So Cal, in response to your reminder of illegal addtionions to automobiles this would have to include tunning the ECU, upgrading your turbo, adding exhuast, and numerous other modifications. As car enthusiast we will continue to modify our cars regardless. So back to my original question does anybody know how to remove the headlights?

Retro-fitting HIDs into Halogen headlamps IS illegal, in many countries. Again, if you wish to carry out this particular mod, then fine. It is just that many people do not actually know they are illegal, and in the UK, the authorities are actually clamping down on fitting and using these. My stance on this issue is only to offer clarity on the legal issue, and not to "preach". Quote:
