I have the price for all you Americans out there. A friend of mine works at Champion Audi located about 5 minutes away from me here in Boca Raton, Florida, USA, which is now the largest Audi dealership in the world. He has received some news about the RS4's price and debut time. The price will most likely start in the mid 80's. Base price is probably going to be like $84,000. I was seriously considering getting one before I heard about the price. To me, I think it is overpriced, and I think I am going to go with the S4 which is probably going to start at around $52,000. I would obviously do body work to my S4 to make it look more like the RS4 and also do work mechanically such as intake and exhaust. Anyways, the RS4 will most likely debut in fall of 2005. Keep in mind, these prices and dates are subject to change.

To answer your question Dyarza, the RS4 Avant model will NOT be debuting in the United States at all. I know you will be upset, because you won't be able to destroy anyone in your grocery getter, but you will have to deal with the Saloon. Audi decided against bringing the Avant model to the U.S. because of sales. The sales of the Saloon were much better than of the Avant.
