Alternative to stealership turbo

Hi all,

I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro. Ihave posted in the forums before and everyone is a great help.

My problem is car was very sluggish (cannot get out of its own way) cel came on and have a 0299 code. After searching forums i changed the DV valve, N75 and a couple of hoses most notable the turbo intake wich was cracked. after the changes cel is still on and still get code. brought car to a reputable shop and they said the turbo was toast and there was a lot of play in the impella.

i priced a new turbo and a reman from the stealership and the reman is about $750.00 with $100 core charge and new is about $1500.00.

Iam not looking to do any mods just looking for a more reasonable alternative.

My wife just had a baby so time is of the essence.

Look at a K04-15 turbo and for that sort of money look here it's had great results
