Sport spec??

Hi guys,

I'm currently on the lookout for a nice A4 130tdi sport, but have a few questions..

I have seen a few cars advertised as 'Sport's' but with different bumpers for what would appear on the face of it to be the same year and model of car (B6)

The spec i'm looking for is shown in the pic attached..


Am i right in thinking the 01-04 B6 Sports should have the mesh (or at least mesh look) inserts in the front and rear bumpers, or am i getting confused with another model/spec?

I have had a good look around, and think these sport spec bumpers make a real difference to the look of the car, but i've seen a lot of 'sports' advertised that don't seem to have the meshy bits.

Can someone advise what i need to look for...

Hi,

I have a '03 A4 B6 130bhp sport for over two years which was imported from Scotland to Ireland.

I don't have the mesh inserts either, only notable difference on the outside is the lowered suspension, but no spoiler.. Inside it has the sport wheel and seats, maybe it was an option originally which wasn't purchased?

Late 03 onwards 'Sport' cars had a GMbH body kit attached as standard. This was carried over when the Sport was replaced by the S-Line spec.
