are these factory seat covers or something? Otherwise take them off, look at the label and it should just tell you to machine wash and hang dry or something.

Gray material standard factory (no idea how this model came without leather...2.4L V6)

Have the same on 1.8T sport. Even plain water leaves a stain. I'm seriously considering spending money on a proper valet job. That is unless they can be removed.

Mine is half leather with some kind of material covering the seat and back rest (light greycolour).
Hey I wash my clothes and have them dry cleaned regularly. I'm that kind of guy. (laugh)

But the flippin seats get grubby real quick.
I've tried 2 types of car upholstery sprays and they have both been rubbish. Even tried a carpet cleaner.
In a fit of rage I used a bucket of warm water with washine machine detergent in it. Cloth first and rubbed in. Then soft scrubbing brush.
Finished with clean cloth and clean water and car stood for hours with all the doors open to dry.

It looked better but I just wished the car had come with all leather to be honest...so much easier.

I have even looked into getting the light material dyed a darker colour to stop it looking so scruffy.

Default Managed to take of the factory cover on rear seat (not back)

It has plastic grips ment caught on a metal frame , 10 min. to take it off , machine washed and back as new

Will do so piece by piece , seat by seat when i find the time.
Hopefully will picture the stages...

Cheers
