H&R suspension spring upgrade

I got a good deal on H&R lowering spring for my 02 Audi A4. Do I need to change the shock as well if I change the suspension spring? Is there anything I need to check on my stock suspension before I change the spring?

If you have sport shock you will be fine if not then change the shocks.

Thanks Docurley. That would be nice if I dont need to replace the shock. The previous owner mentioned to me that it has a sport package option but how do I know if it has sport shock? by part number maybe?

If the shocks are red then they are sport shocks.
