Knocking noise after engine starts

Hi all

I have an 04 S4 avant that has just started to make intermittent knocking/rattling sounds after being started. It happens right after the engine catches and then stops after a few seconds.

It makes no difference whether engine is warm or cold and the Oil level is fine and everything else is ok. Has anyone experienced anything like this? All help to avoid large repair bills much appreciated.

11 months and more than loving it !
It's the total biz

Took sometime to source it but worth the effort & wait.
Bit over budget but it was only 3 months old when I purchased it.
No regrets whatsoever
