A4 Poor redio reception.

I have a 2002 Audi A4. The radio reception is very poor especially teh FM reception. I dont know if its the actual radio head set or a problem with the antenna/aerial in the rear windscreen. Can anyone suggest a solution??

Do you have an aftermarket tint on the rear window? that can interfere with the antenna in the rear windscreen.

I have a similar problem. I get the Short to Ground code on my VAG-COM, but I read the Bentley report from Audi and it advises tech to ignore. So about 4 months after I got the code, the radio reception declined in quality. It is ok at times, but at others it is not. I have cleared the code, but it comes back at random. My car went out of warranty about 3 weeks ago, so I was trying to avoid service on the antenna or antenna booster. Anyone have any suggestions?
