18's will fit... I just had my car lowered and putting the 18's on this week. I'm going with a 235/40/18r series tires as recommended by my local dealer with my 1.5 inch drop using H&R springs. According to the dealer, you can go up to 19 inches

Gap after new rims will also depend on wether you have an SE or Sport model 3.0 quattro which have different suspension heights as standard ?? ..

I got 18x8 with a 40mm offset.... Last week I had my car lowered so there is a 3/4 of an inch of a gap..... Looks pretty good and ride is so far smooth

Finally got pics of rims and a view of car after being dropped using H&R springs 1.5 inches all round. Next on the agenda, change headlights maybe the rear and paint lower bumpers and sides.... Let me know what you think
