Interior lights problem

Hi all,
Jusy new to this forum and new to audi in fact. I bought a 01 a4 diesel last week (great car!!) but the only problem is none of the ''interior lights, light in boot and light in the gloovebox ''are working. Before I bought it the previous owner said that it was an interior light 'switch' problem and gave me money off to fix it. However im not so sure now if he was right, epecially with the other lights not working. All bulbs seem ok and there doesnt seem to be any fuses in the fuse box that relate to these lights. Im just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before and should there be some connection between all these lights.

never heard of this problem, check thru the fuse boxes again, obviously they are fused somewhere, everything is.
