Default Peeling/chipping on interior dash...

I have an A4 with dark interior (charcoal). I notice the rubber? trim that frames the radio/air controls/drive selector has peeled off in areas. Basically the dark charcoal grey color has worn off and the black material underneath is showing in some spots. This is most noticable in daylight.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do any remedies exist for this situation?

There are two remedies. The first is replace the dash the second is to repaint the dash in a vinyl cloth paint. you cant get these paints at any wal mart or NAPA Auto zone, they are made by dupont and are very high quality paints. I have used them on several other project cars great results.
