Hi. I think somewhere in the past I've seen some discussion re tyres, I'm unable to find it. I've currently got contis. that have done approx 18k. In the past on other vehicles i've always run mitchelins, both for wear and road noise, I'm wondering if anyones tried them on this model, or if there are others that are low noise and good wear?
Thanks. Dave |

Ive had the standard conti sport contact 2's and they are pretty good in the wet and dry, low road noise but wear far too quickly for my liking. Now running Goodyear Eagle F1's and they are awesome - not as good in the wet as conti's but in the dry they are much better and are a harder compound so last longer

Dave.....Like Robbie1988 I've had a set of Eagle F1 on my 1.9TDi Quattro Sport.......really good tyre.....I cover a lot of motorway and find grip excellent (especially on cornering) even in the wet (had 16.5k out of them). Now running on Falken FK452, same qualities as the F1's. Go to Mytryes.co.uk.......good deals and they deliver to a garage of your choice. You can also compare tyre types and specifications. My set of 4 Falkens cost £350.00 fitted
