Extended Warranty
I've got an '04 S4 with just over 49000 miles. The warranty expires in less than 1000 miles and this year. The dealer offers extended warranties. I know this car is expensive to fix, and I do drive my car aggressively. I want this car to last about 2 more years and 35000 miles. Is the warranty worth the cost. There are many different options, but I was looking at 3 years/36000 miles covering engine, transmission/transaxle/transfer case, drive axle, steering, brakes, air conditioning, front suspension, and electrical. This would cost about $2500. Is it worth it??? Or do I take a chance?
