Default Bumper removal

I started removing the bumper of my a4 and I was wondering if anyone new if the 4cylinder and 6cylinder removal is different? I got some very nice pictures off this forum of how to do it but I have an addtional bar on my bumper. It was attached to the far side of the fender wall and it is holding both the lower bumper part (black pastic) and the upper part of the bumper (color of the car). I have taken out all the bolts that were told to take out in the previous posting but before i start tuging with everything i have, I was wondering if anyone knows a sect or step I may have missed.

thanks nick

I am also interested in the same information. I have been able to remove the lower trim around the front and sides, but am having difficulty doing the same in the rear. I don't know what your reasoning is for doing it, but mine is that I hate the grey color and am in the process of painting all the lowers black.
