Fuel Pressure Regulator - LOW (HELP)
I have an Audi A4 2.0 FSI 03 model.
I have written a number of posts on this forum with queries to one thing or another, but after 2 diagnosis tests at Audi I am finally left with the answer that it has something to do with the Fuel Pressure Reglator being to low (P1020 Fuel Pressure Control)
However they have told me that they can not pin put what exactly needs to be replaced as it could be a number of things to do with the fuel regulator.
The guy I spoke to at Audi was very helpful, but said he can't commit to what the actual problem was unless they tested the car, but as the problem only seems to occur after driving 40 minutes or so at high speed, this looks to be impossible.
Audi have recommended that maybe I should change the Fuel pump and filter, but won't commit to this, its just a guide.
Can anybody give any advice regarding this issue, however big or small as I am at a complete blank on what to do for the best.
Hope to receive some response.
Thanks
John
