I have a 2002 A4. It has a stock head unit with a bose system. Ever since I bought the car I have had horrible radio reception. When I am in the city I pick up everything but out in the hill I don't get a thing.
Does anyone know why this is or how to fix the problem. |

Don't know if it's the same on all a4's but the cab aerial is requires an amplifier - when I swapped out the head unit on my car I had rubbish reception until the installer "remembered" about the requirement to put an amplifier in.
I seem to remember someone saying that all vw and audi's needed an amp when you replace the head - but I might be wrong. Malarcy |
