Climate Lights

Any one know the significance of the auto and econ lights being on together? I've had a new condensor and regas, guy said I had a broken wire as neither the aircon fan nor compressor were coming on, the lights were okay when he finished but I had a strange smell inside the car, not the ot wet dog smell as I've de bugged the vents and stuff, I'd be grateful if anyone has had a similar problem or knows of the solution. cheers Mike

would start with a re-gas as these do leak over time.. i had mine done last summer..

also the high ppressure sensor is common on these and causes this issue.

RickT as stated I've had a new condensor and regas, the high pressure switch has been checked and is okay, is there a significance on the econ and auto lights both staying on?
