Behaviour of S4 v8 tiptronic transmission
I have an S4 V8 with Tiptronic and i want to know if my transmission behaves normal.
My transmission tends to jerk when I have little or no engineload and upshift or when I step of the throttle. When I drive at slow speeds and get of the throttle completely, the transmission makes a little jerk as if it wanted to throw in next gear and then cancelled. Also, when driving in manual-mode with little load in fifth gear, it makes the same kind of jerking when upshifting to 6th, not like when going from 4th to 5th where its just a smoot upshift.
The symptom feels like some kind of gear engaging. Like putting your motorcycle in 1th gear at standstill with its engine on. Although its just not just one jerk but 2 or 3 really rapid jerks at once.
I have not had the car for so long so I cant really tell if this is normal. Does anyone with an S4 Tiptronic have the same symptoms?
