Just wanted to say that im new to this web site. I recently just bought a 2002 Audi A-4 Quatro. Lately i've been hearing these noises coming from the front end of the vehicle when i go over bumpy terrain. It sounds like something is loose, but i cant figure out what it is! This is really frustrating me because the car only has 63, 000 on the clock! Another question is what type of transmission oil should i be using? Any help would greatly be appreciated. |

hi, the sound could well be a ball joint / anti roll bar link or another rubber bush perished under there, a common thing to go on VAG's, not an expensive fix and can be done in an hour or 2 depending on what tools and set up you have.
ATF, ask your local main dealer, you may find that they sell the specified type as they wont tell you what type it is, they will just have a part number for it and tell you how many Litres you wil need.
