Default 2004 A4 Avant dull headlights.

Hope someone can help.

Just bought a 2004 A4 Avant 1.9tdi Sport 130 and over the moon with the machine......except.......

Nightimes, the Headlights are so dull almost impossible to drive. Any advice?

One thing i have noticed is that when turning the headlights on, the sidelights light on the dash stays on, is this normal? not really sure.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated? thought i would get some advice before going to the stealers to see what they say.

Oh, forgot to say, nice forum.

Many thanks

Mine were the same, so I changed them for Philips blue visions which are great.

Just fitted a set of HID lamps, what a difference and I was running the +50% xenon lamps, got them from Welcome to HID-Direct, We’re your no1 U. K supplier of HID products, paid about £80, good set, easily installed think it took about 30 minutes

have to agree with the HID kit, was the best money i've spent yet on mine and the difference was brilliant.
i bought the daylight vision ring HID kit 8000k and it was only £130
fitted in half an hour with no problems
