I have a 51 plate 1.9 TDI that is over revving on gear change but only does it when the car is warming from cold to about half way, past that its fine. Has anyone seen this problem before and could point me in the right direction to sort it out. I thought it might be turbo related but I'm unsure now that it doesnt do it all the time.

Thanks for the reply. What happens is when the car is warming up and you depress the clutch to change gear the car over revs by about 300-500 RPM. so it feels like you are kangarooing when you change up or down. Once you get past mid way (75 degrees) or up to temperature then the car runs fine. The car is still under warranty so I think it sounds like it needs a trip to the garage but it would be nice if it was a simple fix that I could do myself.
