Default Great guide to changing AUDI headlamp

Hi,
This guide to changing headlamps on an AUDI was great. It took me less than 5 minutes to get done with changing the headlamp.

One quick note though. I changed the headlamp on the driver's side. I did not have to take any screws off. Just the plastic cover over the power sterring reservoir was enough to give me some room to work.

Went through google to find help in replacing n/s dipped headlight bulb after struggling on a cold & wet December morning. I found your thread and promptly registered onto the audi forum and printed off your instructions. All went well after that and had it changed in 30 mins, so just like to say a big thanks to you for your helpfull post.

Default Headlamp bulb replacement

RickT,
You are a gentleman and a scholar. I just did my left and right headlamp dimmer bulbs on an A4 2.0 FSI 03. Well posted my man.

Default Audi A4 Cabriolet Headlight (2003 Model)

Rick,

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the info on the headlight bulb change - I got it sorted and spared myself the trouble and expense of going to Audi to get it done for £55 +VAT!

Just for info, on my A4 Cab, there was only one torque screw to loosen in the engine compartment - I looked for another one for ages, but couldn't find it. As it turned out, everything was fine by taking out the top 2 and just loosening the single fastening point I found. I thought maybe other Cab owners might find that useful.

Anyway - thanks again mate; especially for taking the time to put photos on as illustrations - very helpful indeed.
