What oil for a 2003 2.0 FSi

Oil in my avant needs topping up. Any recommenations on brand/type etc.

castrol GTX magnetic - just servised mine today and used castrol GTX magnetic like always...

when you say needs topping up??? my oil level never moves?? 15k (miles) and oil is always just under max line......

how many miles you done since you topped it up last??

Thanks, that's what i was going to use. A friend of mine just warned me that Audi's were a bit fussy with the type of oil (he had a TT though!).
The indicator has come on on the DIS. Just done about 6k miles, but had the car for about a year now. This is the second time I've had to top up the oil. I do a lot of town driving (not sure if that's makes a difference??

Does it matter if you mix oils? Not sure what I used last time. It was what the previous owner had left in the car.

Did the DIS say OIL?? i have done 60k (miles) in mine and its never come up.. i check the oil always before i service it every 10k and it never moves???

i also do a lot of town driving and motorway.... its strange how some engines which are the same use more than others.....
