It's a risk.
80W (at 12V) = 6.7A rising to 8A at 14,5V for each bulb. The battery is 12V, the alternator makes 14,5V to be able to charge, so when the engine is running the voltage is 14,5V. Check fuses. If the fuses can take it, so can probably the wires. The fuse is supposed to be the weakest link.

5 dollar bulb or 250 dollar new harness setup when u burn it out.... hehe u do the math.........
