Coil Pack

It started with a misfire under acceleration and grew steadily worse until the car was severely losing power and chugging in all gears. Just managed to limp into the Dealers.

Fair play to them - they paid for a taxi to a meeting I had to attend and fixed the car free under warranty (it's 4 yrs old and I'm the 3rd owner).

Apparently there were 2 faulty coil packs which they replaced. 2 have been done previously with the first owner.

Question - shouldn't the whole lot be done together if it's a known problem?? It would save a whole load of trouble.

no coil packs are a big problem with our cars, i say if u find a good deal on coil packs buy some for later
