Coolant Leak - Page 2

New engine was fitted at 47k under warranty for previous owner, so cam belt and engine are only 10 old. Bonus, I think, although it was a shock at first. Hope it doesn't go for me. I've had it 2 weeks, have had Audi service it, had 4 new tyres and then the above repair. So I just want to drive the beast and enjoy it now. Don't want to see the inside of the Audi Service Centre for 2 more years.

yeah.. when you hear NEW ENGINE! you start thinking why what happened etc..!! but as you say "chrisbreez" its got to be a good thing!!

I have a problem with my A4 1.8T. It's leaking coolant from the back of the engine. There are single drops of water coming out from the back. I can't really see if it a hose of something that cracked but i have to refill the coolant tank almost everyday. It's behind the engine in the middle top section. Any advise of what could it be?
