B6 -

I need to replace the bulb which lights up the light control switch - ie Front headlight, side lights, the front fogs and rear fogs bulbs are still ok. just the outer red ones. (its the once next to the door)

Any ideas on how to replace these and the bulbs required??

Thanks

The outer ones for the side and headlight of mine have just started flickering and having looked at the unit these are individual LED's on a printed circuit board so it looks as if you have to replace the whole unit.

I have looked and if you can found out what the board Voltage is I reckon you would be able to buy a led and solder a new LED in place.. (but if things go bang! dont blame me!!)

or just look at a part salavger and see how much they want compared to Audi...

I may just leae it for the mo...

Had a similar problem when mine was about 1 year old. The dealer replaced the whole switch unit. I suspect it has non replaceable parts and knowing Audi it probably aint cheap
