I have a 'Y' plate Audi A4 saloon, 1.9 TDi and am having issues with the remote locking.
Basically, when i try to unlock the car remotely, the indicator lights flash but the doors don't open - i have to manually unlock the drivers side door.
The rest of the doors only unlock when i put the key into the ignition and turn it.
Also, if i don't turn on the ignition within a short time, the alarm goes off.
Is there anyone out there who can help - i don't want to have to pay those rip off merchants a ridiculously large amount of money for 5 minutes work unless i absolutely have too!!!!
Thanks in advance.

i think you will have to take the key and the car to Audi as it sounds like your key is programed for your alarm but not to the central locking.
There is a way of programing the key yourself for the alarm but not the locking.
Only audi can do this
Hope this helps
