hi. i have a 2002 audi a4 and i was wondering where the oil filter is so i can change it myself, £350 is a rip off for a oil change at a dealer. i took the cover off which covers the engine (the one which has the audi rings) but i couldent see anything. please can you tell me where the filter is and how i can change it?

Put her up on a lift, remove the plastic under skirt, you'll find it.

It depends on the engine. On my 2.5 V6 TDI, the oil filter is accessible from above the engine, it rises upwards from between the cylinder block "V".
