Thumbs up

Ok OK I know Im the only one who can really answer that, but I'd like some opinions. Was looking to lease a winter car as my '92 Seville is requiring to much maintenance. What people want for some of these leases is unbelievable. Gotta lease, don't want to take on more debt. Financially, I'm in good shape just very conservative with $$$$. Except for my cars of course.

Anyway I really like the A4. I figure a 3.0 has more power than the Boxster, Quattro and I can get my bike in the back. But I can make a payment on something Im driving and enjoying year round vs 7 months a year. Will I miss it HE$$ Yes! But, kids are in high school, will be needing another car soon so the Boxster is starting to look like an extravagance. So I'm thinking of trading in the Boxster and the Seville and for a few bucks drive home a 3.0. There still out there and their willing to deal. Any thought from fellow car nuts????

get rid of the boxter

as far as speed, the 3.0 A4 will hang with the boxter with no problem (might have a harder time with a boxterS.. but thats okay). the A4 is an awesome car you wouldnt be disapointed. Lease is a great idea.. audi takes care of everything ... oil changes, ect free of charge. they'll even top off your washer fluid when needed.

Having had several 4WD / AWD cars, the Quattro is - - by far - - the best winter vehicle I've driven. Case in point - - had to get to work late last week, and the Maine winter's been pretty brutal. The Quattro got me through our 150 foot (UNPLOWED!) driveway, through snow and drifts ranging from 6-10 inches, no problem. It has been a joy to drive - - even this winter.

A4 is a great car for winter & summer. I slap on some low profile Z rated tyres for the summer and this thing goes around corners very nicely. Winter of course I put on the 4 snows and it goes like a train.
You should be able to get a good deal on a lease about now but be aware that Audi is planning a mid year re-design for the A4. Go on the net to find photos. Very nice looking car (more agressive styling) but it will make the 2004 look a little dated.

Good luck.
