Looking at buying the above A4 Quattro which has a 3.0, manual tranny, and 25,000 miles. Buying from a non Audi dealer but the car looks pretty nice. Assuming a mechanical inspection comes up clean, should I spend the money on a warranty? My last Audi was a 95 A6 and in 70,000 miles it needed only a drivers seat heating element and word has it the new A4s are better built yet. What would you current owners recommend?

Call Audi USA with the VIN, get all of the info. It is free. All Audi's should have a 50k warranty on them (DriveTrain, Electrical, Engine) but call audiusa to make sure. I know that the 02's had a recall on the engine coil overs. (Lemon lawed my 02') Check it out!

Don't buy the warranty if you don't need to. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT.
