Multitronic V. Tiptronic

Hi, anyone had the same experience as me in trading in an A4 3.0 multitronic for a tiptronic quattro ? The former was noisy with high pitch sound when accelerating, the tiptronic is much quieter but slower (8.7 sec 0-100 kph).

hmm... in my experience, tiptronic quattro is more noisy than mulitronic. That's what the salesman and technician told me too.

I can assure you that tiptronic is much more quiet than multitronic. I tested another A4 3.0 multitronic car, same high pitch whinning noise appeared. Another comment about Audi is that the automatic gear change shunt is much more noticeable than BMW cars (I also have a Z3 2.8).
