Default 97 audi a4 heater and overheating problems
Ok so i changed my thermostat and flushed the heater core, and the car overheats now and the heater still doesnt work. any ideas?

It could be the impeller has detached from the water pump.

If you have electronic A/C, check flaps. Also, check the heater pipe that comes out of the cabin heater, if it is cold or gets hot only on hi revs, you may need to replace the heater radiator. May also happened if someone used magic leak stopping freaking liquid. It is quite a job to replace it though.
