96 Audi A4 Q.... 30v engine swap?

hello i have a 96 A4 Q with the single cam motor... and i noticed no one makes a supercharger kit for it, only the 30v motor. so is it possable to swap the 30v motor into my car and if so how hard would it be. thanks for any input

so i found out the 12v and the 30v use the same radiator, altinator, pwr steering pump and starter. i obviously know that id have to use the 30v harness and pcm, i just need to know if i can use the trans in the 96 and if not what id have to do to use the trans out of the 98 (axles, clutch, driveshaft?) any help?

I think your find the 2.8 box are more or less the same and it should bolt up fine.

yeah evryone has been telling me that it will fit, butno one knows really what parts need to be swapped other than harness pcm and engine

yeah i tried vwvortex as well and everyone has been great but no one seems to know, i work at a local parts store part time and i have been checking the part # between a 12v and 30v and everything matches as far as the mounts, o2 sensors, maf and all the hard parts, so the way it looking is it should work, ill just have to change the gauge cluster cause mine wont read the dohc rpm signal.

You mean your RPM gauge? Not sure I follow man. If you're talking about the info cluster then check this out:
