I'm looking into buying a 2000 A4 Quattro 5spd. This could be my first Audi ever and I'm not to familar with the cars so far.
The one in particular I'm looking at is a 2.8 liter V6 model with about 105k miles on it. The owner says he's replaced the Timing belt, Tensioner pulleys, Serp. Belt, and waterpump. To my knowledge so far that is most of the major things done to an Audi for the 100k service. The owner is looking to sell it for only $7.5k which I think is a good deal for the car. It looks to be in decent shape and everything. To all on here who know Audi's more than I do, what's yalls opinion? |

Can't say about the price but having the major service done is a key point on our car plus get the control arms checked out.
Now to make sure this is the car for you are you planning any engine mods or you not in to to this type of thing?

Well the 2.8 30v is a great engine with 193bhp out of the box the only down side is that there is very little in the line of tuning.
Then come's the 1.8TQ, 170bhp Standard but a chip will push it to around 200-210bhp with loads of option to produce loads more.
