Default B5-Simply Best Car Platform

I love the B5 platform. The cars to me look great and perform greatly and also have great tuneability. For my first car i bought a 2.8 A4 5spd. I loved the car, it handled greatly and drove solid. One night it was completely pouring rain, i was going about 95 (really stupid) when i hit a patch of runing water in the road and hydroplaned off the road into the woods sideways and flipped the car and wrapped it around a tree. I was wearing no seatbelt and no airbags went off. I walked out of the car unharmed. (exept for a swollen eye from hitting the steering wheel and a banged up head) The car was so badly damaged i can't even explain to you. The car was turned to a u shape with the axis at the rear passenger wheel, the rear passenger roof was caved in also, every body panel had damage in one way or another. I always knew Audi's B5 platform was pretty safe, but this truely had me starstruck. About two weeks after the accident i picked up a 2001.5 S4 and i have been in love ever since. The B5 platform is amazing in every way, I owe my life to it. Any other car, i would have been done.

Boy was you lucky that day, looks like the rear took the brunt of the impact hence why no air bags went off.
