Help!

My buddy has 2005 Mercedes C230 and he is getting it repossesed. He ows around 20k for it and can no longer afford the payment; thing is he is selling parts of his car

. I mean he sold the engine, brakes, seats, bumpers, fenders and other inerior parts, he says that he won't get in any trouble unless he parts the frame and doors, etc.... Please answer this to me so I don't let my buddy get in trouble, thanks!

He's in a load of crap as they will still want all there money regardles.

Couldn't he just sell it for the balance owed and pay off the loan? I thought when a car was repossesed they just came and got it? I didn't realize they actually gave you advance notice.
