60/40 split rear dont fit

i have a 60/40 split rear seat for my avant and have just bought a leather interior for a avant with 60/40 split rear seats but it seems like the 60 split is more of a 63split and the load catches that hold the seats in place are in the wrong position, any help or advice..please
oh yer, i have a 96 a4 avant. Thanks

It sound like you have Saloon/Sedan seats or even a B6 back seat.
