Exclamation 2000 S4 not starting sometimes ?????

Hello my name is jamar,

I have a 2000 S4 and about a month ago i got my car back from the shop and like 2 days later i went a couple places ended up at the gas station... I got gas and tried to start my car.. It was turning but would not start. Had my bro come and trie to jump me but i wasnt thingking if it was battery it wouldnt turn. but he jumped me and it sounded the same and finaly just started choking and i gave it some gas and it came on. so acouple days pass and this happens again but i did not get a jump it tired it like there time and the held the ignition for about 15 seconds and it started pukering or coughing again gave it some gas and it started.this happens from a couple weeks now and some days it does it some days it doesnt i went one week with out it doing it but seems like if i drive stop and cut it off then drive... cut it off.. the try to stater it again in a short period of time just happens when im about to go home it doesnt want to start lol.. and today was the worse i had to leave it at the stor go cook dinner and come back and it started after about the 3rd try. and i smelled fuel seems like mabye it was flooded. but it was a wierd smell cant put my finger on it mabye half burnt fuel? sorry for the long post but thats the only way i can explain it ill try to change my pluggs tomorrow since they havent probably been changed since 2000.... i bought it as is 2 months ago and all i had done on it was rotors and brakes i also had some stop codes from check engine light but the shop said it was nothing to worry about for now it wasnt critial. but if yall could thing of anything that would be appreciated. its doing the same thing this morning and its getting worse or more frequent this morning i started it and it started fine... went to work but had to run back home tried to start and it took me 3 times and i know when its about to start because it make a small choking sound and when i give it gas it starts up. so i just left it on when i went home.
