engine swap

So i have a 1998 audi a4 1.8t and its not satisfying me. I've put a k04 turbo on it, a cold air intake, exhaust, and a chip and its still not satisfying me. Now my dad has a 2001 audi a6 2.7t with twin k04 turbos and that thows me back in my seat whenever i step on it giving me the biggest grin ever. So i was thinking about getting a 2.7 liter twin turbo like his and put it in my a4. So i would like a little input on is it the right motor? Where car i get my hands on one without having to buy a whole car? and how much can i get it for?

You could ring around the salvage yards and look for a wrecked s4 as the B5 has the same 2.7 T lump or maybe ebay as ive seen them on both in the uk before

Have a search there was another guy looking to do this and it would be cheaper to sell your car and buy a S4.

Your other option is to run a larger turbo setup or max out your K04 set-up running a more aggressive map for your K04 but you will need larger injectors and fmic.

Oh and if your car is not Quattro forget the larger engine option.
