hello
my 98 1.8t is showing coolant temperature of 65 deg c even when thrashed or stuck in traffic this cant be right can it?, ive replaced the twin sender, no difference. read somewhere that thermostat may be at fault, but can any one tell me why, surely if its stuck open then it would just take longer to warm up? dont want to replace it unless it is definatly the cause as ive already wasted 28 quid on a new sender gauge seems ok and car drives ok, possibly down a tad on power any help/opinions appreciated |
