Default 99 A4 rear fog light

hi all,

It's my first post here! May be it is a silly question, but I really have no clue since I'm a new audi a4 (b5) owner.

Here is my question. Is this A4 (B5) having one fog light or two fog light (both side)?

The reason I'm asking is because I have found my passenger side rear fog light was missing. When I first discovered it, I think it was out, so go to buy the bulb, put that in, it lit up, but not able to fit bulb holder back due to the bulb is larger than the hole in the cluster... go the read the manual, it say this:

D- Rear fog light (left side of vehicle)

But mine is having the fog light working on the other side. I know using the left and right notation is a bit confusing, but I can tell the manual is the opposite to my A4 is because of the picture in the manual.

And logically thinking, if one fog light only, why the designed to be no fog side has the socket and it is working?

Many thanks

hello,
they only have one fitted, right hand drive would have the right foglight, the manual has illustrations of left hand drive cars
