A4 1.8T quattro conversion

I have recently started drawing up the plans for my Audi A4 mods. One that is very appealing yet perhaps impossible is a quattro conversion. I wonder if Audi used the same body and floor pan for the FWD and AWD models due to costing, or if there are significant differences between the 2 transmition models.

For any FWD 1.8t this would be a dream conversion, is it possible, has anyone done any research into this? what was your outcome.

Sorry but it cant be done the rear is too different.

When you say they are to different, are you refering to the suspension/transpition or the actual floor/body.
