Alarm. Imoboliser Newbie ....
Hello.
Im a complete newbie to the A4 so please forgive my ignorance. I have just purchased an A4 avant P- Reg 1996. Its the 2.6 V6 Model and im very happy with the car  .There is just one thing. There doesn't seem to be a remote fob for the central locking and alarm. To lock the car you use the key. (Obviously..) and the horm beeps for about 1/2 a second. So a couple of questions ... First off can a remote system be added and any idea of costs? How do you switch the alram off if it triggers? Was this model fitted with an imoboliser? Finally ... The Key lock seems stiff is this normal? Many thanks in advance Paul |
