Mysterious Sound

First let me say hello to everyone since I am new here and this is my first post.

2001 A4 1.8T QA

I have a strange sound coming form the my engine. It seems to be located in the area that would be behind the center vent and radio. When I release the accelerator completly I get this kind of rattle sound. This is only if I have gone over 2k rpm. It will will also do it in reverse and neutral, but not park. Probably not the best word to discribe it but thats all I got.

I took the care to the dealer ship and they tested the boost and several other things, finally telling me the sound is normal and the car is working as intended.

Any ideas would be appreciated....
