Default new b5 owner turbo questions

i just recently got a b5 s4 and i was looking at turbo upgrades and i was slightly disappointed with the power numbers i found when using k04 turbos. i was wondering if there's anybody out there that sells a kit to convert it to gt35r turbos or if i would have to just custom make it.

Talk to Jason at Turbo Engineering Aftermarket and Custom Turbochargers for Cars, Motorcyles, ATVs, All Applications and Models.

He was going to a custom GT35 swap for me, but I never made it down to Sac. He's a good guy to talk to about it. I do know they haven't done an B5 S4 as of yet, so you may be able to get a great deal.

most people do 28rs turbo swaps,b/c there's quite a bit of tuning out for those turboes.but if you want a little bigger and still be on the safe side,a 30r would be plenty.you'll never spool if you get twin gt35r turboes. the 30r will put out a good amount and you'll be very satisfied.i had a chane to erive a twin 30r s4 and holy crap was that thing fast.it would hit full boost around 3300rpms all the wy up to 7000.

if you have the money for the gt35r or 30r kit, id say get it! but it is about 15gs. Probably best bet is buying ko4/rs6 hybrids. they are a large turbo that will bolt onto your stock manifold and produce great amounts of power.
